From Ravelry pattern page:
This fun 2-color crescent shawl has been cretaed to celebrate 5th anniversary of Vlnene Sestry, a LYS in the heart of Brno, the Czech Republic.
The shawl begins at the center and is worked outwards to the border. It is worked in sections, alternating two stitch patterns: garter stitch and simple tuck stitch. Then it is finished with a simple lace border.
The sample shawl is worked in a solid and a speckle but would look equally beautiful when knit in two solids or two speckles.
The border is both charted and written out.
Size
One: approx. 160 cm/63” wide and 48 cm/19” long at center.
Yarn
Martin’s Lab Comfy Merino (100% superwash merino; 400m/440y per 100g); 1 skein CC1 and 1 skein CC2.
Samples shown in:
purple one: For the Love (CC1) and Bilberry Stains (CC2);
yellow one: Inferno (CC1) and Saffron (CC2).
Needles
3.50 mm/US #4 circular needle (100 cm/40” long).
Other
2 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving.
Gauge
22 sts and 42 rows = 10 cm/4” in Garter st measured flat after wet blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage so I strongly recommend making a swatch and adjusting the needle size if necessary.
